Lakhi Mela is the most important festival organized at Khatu Shyam Temple, Sikar during Shukla Paksh of Falgun Month (28th Feb – 11th March). On 5th March (Shashti tithi), make an offering to Baba Shyam. Pleasing him during Falgun month to seek blessings for children, happiness in family, growth in career & business, and relief from hardships. This temple holds deep spiritual significance as it is closely connected to Baba Shyam, who was blessed by Lord Krishna to be worshiped as ‘Kalyug ka Devta’!

Falgun Mela is a vibrant celebration that takes place from the Shashti tithi to Baaras of Shukla Paksh of the Falgun month. In the holy month of Phalgun, Barbarik had selflessly offered his head to Lord Krishna. This profound act of sacrifice is celebrated every year as the Lakhhi Mela. It is a combination of the Shri Khatu Shyam Utsav, Nishan Yatra and Khatu Nagari Mela. It is also known as the Lakhi Mela, where devotees offer lakhs (hundreds of thousands) of rupees to the deity as a token of their devotion and gratitude.
