The Salasar Balaji Temple has a rich history shrouded in Hindu scriptures. It is the only temple in India where Hanuman ji is viewed with a beard and moustache. Popularly recognized as Salasar Dham, it is a 'Shakti Sthal,' denoting it as a Place of Power. 

Salasar Dham, initially built in 1754 AD by Mohandas using mudstone and assisted by two Muslim craftsmen, underwent subsequent enhancements. Rao Devi Singh, the Jagirdar of Sikar, later reconstructed it with concrete, while the current appearance was bestowed by his descendants Kaniram and Ishwardas. The construction incorporates white marble, and the Sanctum Sanctorum and the prayer hall showcase exquisite craftsmanship in Gold and Silver. The main entry gates of the temple feature intricate white marble carvings, capturing attention, and the shrine is adorned with floral pattern work. The temple is administered and upheld by Hanuman Sewa Samiti and an extensive fair is arranged on Hanuman Jayanti, Chaitra Poornima, and Ashwin Poornima. Coconut tying and Savamani tradition are the unique offerings followed at this temple.
