Mahashivratri is celebrated every year on the Chaturdashi tithi of the Phalgun month. On this day, Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati got married. It is also believed that on this day, Lord Shiva consumed the poison that emerged from the samudra manthan to protect the entire universe. The Mahamrityunjay Mantra is Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the “Conqueror of Death”, this powerful mantra is associated with the “Mrityunjaya” form of Lord Shiva, Even Yamraj remains afraid of this form. this mantra carries the energy to overcome fear, negativity, and even untimely death. Triveni Sangam is the sacred place where three rivers—Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati—meet. In this sangam, the Saraswati River is considered the river of knowledge with the calmness of the Ganga and the depth of the Yamuna. It is also known as the King of Sangams or Prayagraj.It is believed that by doing Ganga Abhishek at Triveni Sangam, the sins of the devotees are washed away and salvation is achieved.
